Symbol forcing my brush not to work

Ive run into a rather frustrating problem, One of my symbols, In particular, Is making my brush do weird things. On literally any other frame it works fine, And the colour black works as intented. But it seems to screw up on any other colour. I have a coloured background and when I use the colour white on the symbol, It shows up in the symbol as white, but when I retreat to the main stage it is acting like an eraser. Or 100% opacity, And when I make it a colur, it immediatly appears darker (Or perhaps translucent as my background is pretty dark) So somehow ive switched something that makes just those frames treat me chosing colour as simultaneously setting opacity (for some reason.) It doesnt actually change the opacity setting mind you. It only acts that way on the main stage.
Trying to just draw on the main stage changes nothing, Only that the effect is immediate, My white brush simply erases things (that aren't black) in my symbol, and colour is translucent and darker. There are things on different frames within the same layer and switching to them is fine for everything other then the frames using this symbol, In short, I have no idea whats gone wrong or how to fix it.
