WARP TOOL NOT WORKING

Hi,

Ive been trying to learn how to use animater, and from everything ive watched its alot eaasier to make characters on illistrator. Ive followed to directions of importaing every single piece of the character from illistrater through the assets. When i load them in animater, i have to rebuild the character, when i go to create the warping it will select one area of the body but not work on others, i cant link any of the body parts together. 

- How do i import my character into animate without having to rebuild?

- How do i get the warping tool to work on all body parts?

- How do i get all body parts to connect through the warping?
