Samson G Track Pro not working in Audition on a MSI Gaming Laptop running latest windows 11 update

Hi guys is there anyone out there who can assit me with this issue? I've been through the windows sound check test and it worked fine but when using it in the latest update of Audition, the light on the mic flashes red in colour and the audio recording playback is sped up 2 times! How can i get it to work on this gaming laptop?

The Samson is flashing red because the input and output sample rates don't match. Your best bet is to reset the Samson's sample rate to whatever Audition's output rate is set to (this is in the Audio Hardware page in Preferences). If all the rates are set the same, then playback will be normal.
