2014/ Ver 14 : Keywords buggy (latest update ptd)

I'm having issues with keywords, specifically an added keyword will be shown in "Assigned Keywords" but it wont be ticked off in the keyword list. Trying to tick it off, just un-ticks it right away. For some reason, it's added to "Other Keywords" in italics. Trying to delete the other keyword listing just results in it repopulating.

 

I'm using "Collections" to aggregate a specific keyword and this is where I am at during this

If I use "Find in Bridge" and go into the specific folder, the same behavior is experienced. So from what I gather, the issue is not with "Collections".

 

I also have the latest Bridge 2023 13.0.5.763 installed (as 2024 has been waaay too buggy for general use for me) and this version does not exhibit this behaviour. In general it is also WAY snappier and less prone to slowdowns or performance slumps.

    Thank yo for reaching out to us. To better investigate the issue, could you please share the following:

    • Machine details (hardware + OS)
    • Bridge 13 (2023) and Bridge 14 (2024) versions
    • Please confirm that the issue you are facing with Bridge 2024 is not reproducible with Bridge 2023
    • Please confirm if a keyword, say, "Bird" is applied in Bridge 2024 on an asset and when you open the same asset in Bridge 2023, "Bird" keyword is not available for the same asset
    • Please share the complete app data folder

      • Win - C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Bridge 2023

    I have been working with 2014 editing som keywords these past hours. After noticing this buggyness, I switched back to 2023. I just noticed some keywords that I have added in 2024 does not have permanence into 2023. So it seems 2024 didn't save these specific keywords at least.
