2024 Bridge V14 Batch renaming does nothing

Up until 2 days ago Batch renaming was not an issue, but now when I go to run a batch with all the same steps nothing happens.  It looks like it goes through the process but the file names are still the same.  I have uninstalled, reinstalled, purged caches, tried other files etc.

    *Try to upgrade to Bridge 2025...it fixed the batch renaming issue! 😉

    I'm having the same problem! Its really interfereing with my job. Come on Adobe! Stop with the excessively frequent upgrades. Its really making me want to switch to another editing software.

    And sorry Gary, but we already turned the computer off and on again.

    This is not the issue, I've been using Bridge for 20years.

    Where are the files located? (On an external drive, etc.) Have you renamed files in this folder before? There is an option to move the named files to another location. Did you verify that they are going where you expect them to be?
