Adding date metadata from folder name

I'm new to Bridge and I have no clue about it, since this is the first time I use it.
Therefore I'd appreciate a detailed instruction - thank you! 😄

I have a big folder with many sub-folders which contain photos. The folders containing the photos are named after the date when the photos were taken, in this format: YYMMDD (e.g. 221026)

Now I want to replace the (wrong) date metadata of the photos with the date from the folder name, using some automation/script.

How would I do that?
