adding images from Bridge into Cloud library

Adobe Bridge is a great tool to browse images, but why can't I add images from Bridge to my Creative Cloud image library? It would make sense to have this feature.

I spoke with someone in tech support and they suggested I add the user folder "Creative Cloud Files" to my favorites bar, but that doesn't contain all of my asset folders (which I have organized in CC library).

Is there a way to do this?

Hi All,

We have released a new update of Adobe Bridge (CC 2018) on 16 July 2018. The new version build number is 8.1.0.383. This version is available to install via Adobe Creative Cloud application.

This Bridge update contains support for CC Libraries. Please check the "Libraries" workspace after installing new version of Bridge CC.

You may need to update the Creative Cloud application and restart your computer to see the updated installer.

Thanks,

Deepak Gupta

OMG this is awesome! DeepK I read your reply and went straight to my CC App to find the Bridge update waiting for me. This is the best thing that has happened to Bridge in a long time. Thank you!

Hello,

You can always save or move your files directly into the Creative Cloud folder of your computer. Those  folders can also be shared and viewed on mobile smartphones and tablets with the CC app.

From those folders you can drag and drop directly to your working app.

I hope this is a solution for you.

Thank you for your response. The creative cloud folder does not show the subfolders I've created in the creative cloud. The one I am talking about is here.

computer>users>username>Creative Cloud Files

When I login from another device, this folder does not appear. Is there another CC folder I should be looking for?

I also thought there should be something similar to the other adobe products where you can select/choose from the app without having to do it this way for full integration - especially since I use this often to look for files to use the other apps.

The folder is directly linked with your Adobe ID or the ID that is used on that computer.

The link you're mentioning is correct. That's the place where you have to save your files into.

All the files are synced with the ID of that computer.

If you want to have those files on another computer do follow one of next procedures:

• Check preferences in the Adobe Creative Cloud application manager if the option sync is on.

• Open an Photoshop as example. In the help menu you can see witch user or ID is used for that computer. If you're a subscription you can logout en login with your own Adobe ID. A few seconds later, the folder will sync with your Adobe Cloud.

An other easier way is to make a Collaboration library that you share with another user in the network. Every person will be able to put and use some stuff in that library.

Do like so: Open Creative Cloud library in PSD as example.

In the fly-out menu of the Library palet; find collaborate… invite that other adobe ID user.

Other use have to accept the invitation, and so he will be able to use that shared library.

Good luck
