Question

Adobe Bridge 14.1 does not save Brush Masks

Howdy, I've noticed as of yesterday that bridge is failing to save brush masks.  I can apply the mask and everything looks good, but once I click "Done" in the lower right corner, the brush masks are not saving.  The Brush Masks do appear if I save my RAW file out as a JPG from Bridge, but they do not appear when I open the RAW file in photoshop.

Im seeing the same thing on Mac OS 14.5 Camera Raw v16.3.0.1866.

If I open the image in PS the mask and settings are applied, byt the mask itself is NOT saved to the DNG.

Thanks,

: D

You are referring to Camera Raw not Bridge. This issue has been discussed in the Camera Raw Forum and has been acknowledged. See here.

Eric, I see that, well that's good that this issue is being noticed.  Hopefully it will be resolved soon.

Hi @Mee Deggi The Punisher, what is your OS and where are the raw files being stored? (And where are you saving your JPG files?)

Hi Gary, I'm using Windows 10 and the files are being stored on an internal HDD.  The JPG file was saved to the same location as all the RAW files.  Just an update, Bridge isn't saving the Brush Masks to JPGs as well, or older RAW files that I had pulled in from a month to a year ago.
