Adobe Bridge 2018 launching during startup

This has only been happening since the most recent updates. I am getting slow computer startup due to Bridge launching itself, once startup is done the Bridge page is not full screen and has the Preview and Metadata panes covering most of the thumbnail pane. At this point I can close Bridge and relaunch it and everything is fine.

I am using Windows 10 64 bit with AMD HD8470 graphics card with all drivers etc up to date.

Any suggestions on how to solve this please?

It appears to have been due to Dropbox, with Dropbox enabled at startup Bridge launches too. I have uninstall Dropbox as I don't use it much any more, Several minor but annoying slow running problems in other image processing software have have disappeared as a result!

You can turn this off in Bridge Preferences.

Many thanks but I have tried that.

'Start Bridge at Login' is already unchecked on the Advanced panel in preferences. I have also tried with 'startup scripts' unchecked as well, but I still have the problem.

Is Bridge set as a startup item in Windows?
