Adobe Bridge: 2020 latest version is working extremely slow.

I’ve been running Bridge/Photoshop on my pc for years with no problems, but with the last 2020 version is becoming almost unusable. It takes SOOO long to generate thumbnails on a folder. I tried to uninstall and reinstall, purged all cache files, but it didn’t get any better...

Desktop

Windows 10 pro – 2004

RAM 16 GB

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz 3.40 GHz

SSD drive – 245 GB free

429 GB and 981 GB left on each of the two hardrives where I keep all images

Can any one help?
