Adobe bridge and windows vista

So, if I understand that response correctly, there is not way to use Adobe Bridge to upload images on my laptop running Windows Vista and have them converted to dng files. Which means that I have no previews of the images in Bridge.

Margaret, Home Basic or Premium? If Basic, then it's not supported.

windows vista home edition closes adobe bridge while I am working with images. Why?

I too am having difficulty uploading images shot in Raw to my laptop which uses Windows Vista. The problem is that the Raw images are copied to Bridge, but the DNG conversion fails. I have downloaded the Bridge update, but now the DNG conversion is not even available.
Any suggestions?

Have you installed the newest updates? I too had trouble and an error. I installed the updates and it works now???
