Hello

When tryining to open a photo in Bridge with Camera Raw I receive the following message "The Camera Raw setting coould not be applied because there were no Camera Raw files selected or selected files were read-only.

When I open Photoshop, I CAN open the same files in Camera Raw but not in Bridge.  Also the same files can be opend in Lightroom.  I use the latest version of Adobe CC.

The files are stored on external hard drive formatted to use on bothe Apple and MS.

Any solutions please,

Regards, CS

Hi Callie,

Quick question(s): are you on Mac or PC? If on Mac, what is your OS (and what release)?

Hi Callie,

OK, let's start off with some basics:

Please rebuild your preferences: https://blogs.adobe.com/jkost/2009/10/resetting_bridges_preferences.html

Then delete your caches:

Select Preferences from the File menu then click on the Cache Management tab and click on the "Purge All Local Cache Files"

Let's see if that solves the problems. (It may not but it's a good place to start).
