I need to free up some storage space on my desk top and was wondering, if it's possible to export Adobe Bridge to an external hard drive?

any suggestion, help appreciated.

    Hi Martin,

    You do not state what your operating system is but generally it's not a good idea to move applications to an external hard drive. On the other hand, you can move documents (e.g., images) to external drives with no problems. I strongly suggest you start from there. Also, if you have so many applications on your hard drive as to make space an issue, consider getting a new (larger) hard drive for your computer. Running out of space will cause your computer to slow down and applications like Photoshop will slow down a LOT.

    Just as a side comment, always maintain a backup of your images because it's never an issue "IF" a given hard drive might crash, it's always an issue of "when."

    Hello Gary, thanks for your reply.

    I work on OSX El Capitan. My iMac is about 8 years old, so I guess in computer terms becoming antiquated and it is incredibly slow 

    I have exported all my images to my external hard drive but it hasn't freed up suffificient space. I've only been able to partially download Photoshop 2017 and I also wish to download Dreamweaver, fairly soon.
