Adobe Bridge Error message when opened

When I try to open adobe bridge I get an error message that looks like this....Bridge will only open to this folder, and won't allow me to click on anything (including the adobe bridge/edit/window/help tabs at the top). I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the app and tried to troubleshoot in other ways as well. Any suggestions for how I can resolve this issue?

using Command/Option/shift to clear the cache finally fixed the issue. It took several tries but finally the timing worked (right as the app was opening and before the error message appeared).

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
