Adobe Bridge Labels Not Working

I have just cleared out all of my Adobe products and installed them fresh. Bridge refuses to label half of my images. I have cleared my cache adn done absolutely everything described on this page https://helpx.adobe.com/in/bridge/kb/troubleshoot-errors-freezes-bridge.html

I still can not label or rate half of my images. What's more, if it does label one I may not be able to remove that label once applied. This makes my photo workflow take twice as long and it's honestly almost not worth it.

Has anyone had any success correcting this issue. I have the latest versions of all apps.

Hi, i've been using Birdge CS6 till now and tried Bridge 2020 facing this same issue on OSX 10.13 (High Sierra).

The only way I could label and edit notes again is by changing OSX security preferences.

Go to System Preferences > Security > Confidentiality tab > Accessibility > Clic the plus sign (+) and add Bridge in the application list.

Close Sys. Pref. and Restart Bridge (it worked for me). On more recent system (Big Sur etc.) I guess you simply add the authorization at a different level (authorise to write on disk or equivalent). Cheers

If you are on a MAC OS have you checked your file permissions on the files you cannot label or rate?

Try moving one of the folders to a different location and open it back open in Bridge. See if tht works.

I am on Windows 10. I think it has to do with working with files that are stored in my Dropbox account. But even this is not consistent. Sometimes the labels work fine and other times they don't work at all. It's very frustrating.

February 2022, issue is still the same as you wrote above. Exactly the same for me, but my files are located on a network drive.

Any slutions to this issue? I have relied on labels and star ratings in my workflow since forever (at least 15 years). This complicates things A LOT!!!!
