[Moderator moved from Adobe Creative Cloud to Bridge.]

Hello, I am struggling with changing the meta-data with Adobe Bridge preferences. I literally see no place to click “OK”. I have the latest version of Adobe Bridge, I have watched numerous classes on the topic, etc.  after I make my changes, there is no auto save, So none of the preferences are saved. I tried moving the window to see if I was missing the place to click on save or OK, but there is nothing. Thank you for anyone’s help!

    Hi dianef31111009,

Sorry that you cannot change metadata in Bridge as the changes you made in the Preferences are not getting reflected or saved automatically.

Which version of Bridge are you using and on what is your operating system?

Are you making some changes in the Preferences >> Metadata menu in Bridge and those changes are not reflecting?

    Thanks,

    Akash

I downloaded the most recent version from Adobe website.

I have a PC, and I am using Microsoft Office 365 for Home.

I realize I only need to use about 1% of the Adobe Bridge features. I have been able to batch rename files so that the new name will inform the year the photo was taken: "Smith_Family_1969_1" etc.

I've added keywords (although that is not a very user friendly set up).

And yes, I removed any reference to date created/dated originated etc on the metadata.  BUT there is no place to click "save" or "OK" per the instructions I read from Adobe.

That means when metadata is displayed for my digitized slides  an incorrect date display for 500+ photos as April 3, 2019. I was just trying to "hide" that incorrect data.
