Question

After installing OK, Bridge will not open

Hi all,

I'm running a Mac on Seq. 15.4.

3.6 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i3.

Radeon Pro 555X 2 GB.

8 GB 2400 MHz DDR4.

After installing Creative Cloud, Bridge installed seemingly OK. But it won't open. I don't get a message that the app. is unresponsive, it just won't open.

I did find a post that suggested turning on some 'Files & Folders' and 'Full Disk Access' settings, which I did. No difference.

Any suggestions would be appreciated, or is it as simple as that I need to upgrade my Mac. I would find that hard to beleive, I can work with RAW files on Affinity Photo 2 with ease.

Cheers

Paul

Hi, @Paul__R, When you click on the Bridge icon in the Dock, does it bounce a bit and then stop? Do you get the little "dot" underneath Br showing that it's open? Anything?

When you right-click on the icon, and you select Show in Finder, what happens?

Hi gary_sc, thanks for responding.

When it didn't work the other day I uninstalled Bridge and CC. This morning I reinstalled. In answer to your questions:

-- No bouncing BR

-- There is a little white dot

-- When I 'Show in Finder' the path is Applications --> Adobe Bridge 2025 --> Adobe Bridge 2025

Also, when I right click, it reads that the application is not responding.

Hope this gives you some clues.

Paul

Hi gary_sc,

Just on the off chance I clicked on the Bridge icon and it opened. It's slow but it is working.

Thanks for your help anyway.
