After upgrade, Bridge no longer sees star ratings or color lables

I've been using quite an older version of Bridge from the photography subscription online. I've been doing some color labels, but mostly star rating on all my folders, for each photoshoot. 

I bought a new IMac and installed the latex version of Adobe Bridge and discovered that my previous shoots that I've worked on - starred and labeled and then edited - did not display the star ratings or color labels I had done in the older Bridge version.  

Is it possible to bring those ratings and labels back?  It would save lots of hours of work and a certainly a big headache.
