After upgrading to OS 12.3.1, the latest version of Bridge cannot see subdirectories on external dri

After upgrading to OS 12.3.1, the latest version of Bridge cannot see subdirectories on external drives. The files are all there and can be opened by Photoshop / ACR. I was using Bridge immediately before the installation and immediately afterwards it could not see the subdirectories. Bridge has all the pernissions necessary to access the drive. Any thoughts?

The answer to another thread on this issue totally resolved my issue! Thanks to the community.

My problem was solved in that Bridge now sees the subdirectories on the external disk. One puzzler is that some of the subdirectories don't have the little arrow next to them, but when I click in the spot where the arrow should be they open up.
