All metadata missing from thumbnails in Bridge 2019

Recently upgraded Bridge from 2018 to 2019 and can no longer see the lines of metadata underneath thumbnails (file type, size, date created etc.). If hover is clicked the info pops up but i don't want that! I want the information to live visibly under the thumbnails permanently just as it did in earlier versions. Yes, I've clicked off hover. What's going on? Is there a preference I need to set? Is this a glitch? I've cleared my cache, refreshed, quit, restarted....help!

    Yes, it's in your preferences

I know it's in preferences--I mentioned that above. I have all the boxes clicked and set to what I want shown but the information is missing below the thumbnails.
