Animated Gifs

Bridge CC 2018 (8.0.1.282) on Mac OS 10.14.4 supports animated gifs, but the current Bridge CC 9.0.3.279 on Mac OS 10.12.6 does not. It displays only the first image of the gif at a reduced size. Is this normal? Is there any hidden settings I missed to make it work?

Hi there,

That should not be happening, as it's not a typical experience with Bridge.

As gifs will not play in the preview panel, it might be because of the older macOS version.

  • Have you tried seeing the same gif on both the systems you mentioned?
  • Have you created the gif yourself or downloaded it from somewhere?
  • Does it happen with every gif or some specific gifs?

You should see a play button under the gif preview:
