APFS broke our Folder Cruising?

We've recently upgraded our file server here to High Sierra with APFS. Folder cruising used to work beautifully on all our iMacs and MacBooks connecting to the server, however now the dropdown lists appear in some arbitrary order rather than alphabetically. The Sort menu items no longer seem to affect Folder Cruising either.

I see others have had problems with this for years, using windows shares etc and other versions of Bridge. Curious to know why this suddenly breaks now for us, and if anything can be done with it?

Server is Late 2014 Mac mini running macOS 10.13.1

Various iMacs and MacBooks mostly running Sierra 10.12.6 and Bridge 8.0.0.262

Cheers

Hi Luke,

We generally have seen customers reporting such issue.

It mainly happens that Bridge tries to create cache of images/folders and when on a server there could be permission issues which can cause the issues as faced by you.

Also, is it possible for you to provide a screenshot for better investigation of the issue?

Regards,

Sheena
