Append Metadata

I have setup a list a metadata templates that I use very often. I just upgraded my operating system to macOS 10.13.4. Prior to that, I was 10.10. Before the upgrade, the list of metadata templates were in alphabetical order. After the installation of the new operating system, it is a random mess with no reason for the order. How can I get the templates back in to the same order that they were prior to the OS upgrade? Thank you for the Help  Kevin
