Arrow keys, delete key and batch rename do not work in bridge cc

After a hard drive crash, I had to redownload Adobe Bridge.  I am in OSx 10.12.3. Now my arrows keys do not work to move from image to image, I cannot delete without dragging an image to the trash and I can't batch rename. I've basically lost so much of the functionality of Bridge. Any clues as to what is going on??

I am working in Adobe Bridge CC 2015-- release 6.3.1.186. Had no issues before my hard drive crash. New hard drive, reinstalled Bridge and now can't navigate unless with mouse.

Try updating your Bridge to Version CC 2017.

Hello I have this same problem. I have Adobe bridge cc 2017 and my arrow keys aren't working and cannot delete. I have tried to press command option shift but nothing happens. Any help??

Since installing Bridge 2017 (v.7.0.0.93), my arrow keys will not navigate between thumbnails in the Bridge content window. Command-O does not open the file in Photoshop, either. This has not happened prior to this version of Bridge. I have reset the preferences to their defaults and purged all the cache files.

Hope you can help—this is annoying.

    Dear Users,

Request you to install Bridge CC 2017 again or upgrade to Bridge CC 2018 (8.0.1.282)

Please let us know if you face any issues.

    Hi Wha,

Try resetting the preferences of Bridge: -

Start Adobe Bridge and immediately press Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Windows) or Command+Option+Shift (Mac OS) until the Reset Settings dialog box appears. Select all three options--Reset Preferences, Reset Standard Workspaces, and Purge Entire Thumbnail Cache--and then click OK.

    Regards,

    Sahil

I just tried that and I still cannot use any of my arrow keys, delete keys, etc in Bridge. Can only control with the mouse which is pretty inefficient.

May I know which version of Bridge are you using?
