Batch renaming in Bridge freezes

Since updating to Sequoia batch renaming in Bridge will not work. It freezes, no movement in the progress bar and after cancelling the task the files are renamed with the prefix "Adobe Bridge Rename Temp". MacBook Pro M2, Sequoia 15.1. Bridge 14.1.2.300. Restarting the computer has no effect.

I'm not seeing this specific problem, but Bridge 14 in general is hot garbage that crashes and freezes constantly. I still have to use Bridge 12 in production. I've been testing Bridge 15 beta and its just not usable.
