Blurry in Bridge, Tack sharp in Photoshop

Huge new issue.

Images preview (full rez previews) -- some look blurry in Bridge in the Preview. Then I use magifier or open in PS and it's just fine very sharp. What is this? real drag.

    Control click on the thumbnail > Purge Cache for Selection -- fixed the issue for me.

      This worked for me:

      1. Start Bridge, and open the Preferences.
      2. Go to the “Advanced” section and turn on “Generate Monitor-Size Previews”
      3. Click “OK’ to save

      Make sure you purge your cache after doing that. Hope that helps.

        Bridge Previews, especially if large, are almost always softer than the real image viewed in Photoshop. I've never seen a "tack sharp" Preview in Bridge.

        thanks, but this is from a brand new shoot, previews generaled hi quality.

        also guys:

        some of the large previews look quite sharp and then some are very blurry, if opened in PS, in reality sharp --

        so there does not seem even a way to gauge some standard.

        That would not mean the folder you have put them in does not need a cache

        purge.

        Maybe you can provide a screenshot, so we can see how much blur you are

        talking about. And also give some details about the size of the files and

        the size of your preview window, as the Macdoctor already stated his theory

        about difference in view for Bridge and PS or even in 100%

        Try the menu tools/cache/purge cache for folder and let Bridge take its time

        to generate new previews.
