I use Bridge daily for years rarely experiencing an issues. Now it lags and takes way to long to move to a different folder or location. I have uninstalled and re-installed several times. Any advice would be nice. Thank you!

I have problems with bridge 11.0.2... its extremely slow on windows 10... i run the same on my mac and it runs perfectly. The previewing of the images and the tumbnails generations are super slow....   also the rating is painfully slow. i have to wait to really see if the picture was rated or not.   Any solutions?

Hi,
Thanks for your feedback. Could you share the following details about the issue:

  • System configuration
  • Is thumbnails generation taking too long? - For this you can try switching to the “High Quality / On Demand” preview generation and check if that helps you with improved performance on the operation.

Thanks,
Bridge Team

I am also having the same issue. As @jtiesing mentioned, the issue is not with previewing images, it is as simple as moving folders from one location to another. For example, I frequently have to cut and paste folders from one location to another. The preferred method is to right click on the folder choose cut and then paste in the new location. When I 'right click' on a folder it takes between 10 and 15 seconds for the options to load.
