Bridge 2018 locks up- how to fix?

Hi, I just downloaded Bridge 2018, sadly took the process where it deletes old versions.

this version locks up within a few moments of use. Working on a mac, all current OS, the Force Quit does not show as not responding. Nothing will respond from the menu bar at the top to any selection or slider bar. different mice no affect.

Only way to quit is to use force quit.

Any one else have this and solved it?

    Hi Mark,

    Could you please check if Bridge has Read & write permission for all users?

    Also, you can try resetting the preferences of Bridge: Troubleshoot Adobe Bridge for errors and freezes
