Bridge 2019/2020 not responding

Lately I can't seem to work more than a few minutes with Bridge (mainly editing images) before it stops responding and I am forced to quit the program and start from scratch. It's incredibly annoying and time consuming and now I just want to find a different program altogether. It's just a big waste of my time. Any suggestions?

Really need more hardware info.

Laptop or desktop?

OS?

Hard drive SSD?

What operating system? Have you let it sit until it starts responding again? Where are the images you are working on?
