bridge 2019 has corrupted thumbnails how to fix?

downloaded bridge 2019, have installed, uninstalled twice. the thumbnail in the content window flashes correctly then goes corrupted. It looks like the wrong channel on an old tv. Does not matter the size of the thumbnail or location the file come from, desktop, hard drive or server.

Any ideas how to fix?
