Bridge 2019 > Place in InDesign 2019 not working

I'm on a Mac, running  High Sierra, 10.13.6.

When I try to File > Place > InDesign in Bridge CD 2019, even though InDesign CC 2019 is open, Bridge starts up InDesign CC 2017.

Why? How do I fix this?

I went into Preferences > File Associations and yes, INDD is associated with InDesign CC 2019.

I thought I could just tweak a script, but I can't find where Bridge CC 2019 scripts are stored.

Thanks for any help,

AM

I found the answer in another group, which I'll  post here for other users:

Start Bridge CC 2019, and look in Preferences > Startup Scripts (overlooked that panel before). I found there were a ton of enabled scripts for various versions of InDesign and InCopy. I disabled all the IC ones and also the ID ones except for CC 2019; restarted Bridge, and now File > Place > InDesign does place in ID CC 2019.

I'm guessing this is the result of multiple updates to Bridge where I told it to keep the preferences from previous  installs.

On Windows you could do it by typing Regedit in Command Prompt. Then find appropriate key and modify it.
