Bridge 2020 showing incomplete drive 'Content'

I am not sure how to even phrase this, so I'll give a very basic description.

I have an external Thunderbolt drive using direct connection to my MacPro 2013 running the current Catalina version, it is about half full. I am using the most most current Bridge 2020 version 10.0.1.126, I select the drive, then select the View/Show Items from Subfolders from the dropdown, walk away to give it time to go through everything, keep hidden files hidden, hide folders since I only want to see the files, but it stops around 4500 files totals and only about 400 of those are NEF, everything else is TIFF & JPG. This is impossible. I have single folders with 400 NEF files.

My goal is to see all of my image files to find duplicates, find files in the wrong places, and do some archiving, general cleanup, or whatever I need to do. But, I need to be able to see everything.

Is this even possible in Bridge?

Thank you!

Catalina has been problematic for many Adobe users. Check permissions to see that Bridge has full disk access. If you can boot from Mojave, check to see if the problem goes away.
