Bridge 2022 has strange bug when minimized

I'm using a fully updated Windows 11 Lenovo laptop and Creative Suite. I've also set up my own custom Workspace in Bridge 2022, as I usually do, and have saved it as "Scott Workspace." It's nothing fancy and it looks like this:

When I minimize Bridge, however, the workspace is reset at random. The latest version looks like this:

It doesn't always look like this. Sometimes it fully shrinks both left and right sides. Sometimes it is just the right side. But always, the center Preview panel is massively enlarged. When I click "Scott Workspace" at the top to reset it, nothing happens. If I close Bridge and then reopen it, the wonky version remains. If I delete the custom workspace and then recreate it, the same problem returns the next time I minimize. Anyone know what's going on? I've never seen this bug before. Is this common, or somehow just my system?  Thanks!

Correct answer Ken5DE7

I found a workaround.

Using the Windows 11 multiple Desktop feature, using one Desktop for Br keeps it intact after switching to another Desktop. and back the Br one.

I hope that helps users, and the Adobe team to isolate this bug.

I'm having the same problem. I run Bridge 2022 (v12.01) on my Lenovo laptop (Thinkpad X1 Yoga Gen 6) and I just updated to Windows 11. The bug didn't appear when I first updated to Windows 11, but rather when one of the latest patches for Win 11 was released (don't know which update it was exactly). I don't use any custom workspace, but I do use the essential workspace. Every time I minimize Bridge it completely clears the workspace, forcing me to reset the workspace. I can't say exactly what is causing this bug, but I am including screenshots of my most recent updates, as well as screenshots from Bridge. Hope this can be patched soon.

This is happening to me on a new laptop, Dell XPS 9710, just arrived with a frsh Win 11 Home install.

It happens with all Workspaces I've tried, and it appears that when Br is minimized, the center panel expands outward to both horizontal edges. I can roll over both left and right edges and resize the center panel and see what has happened.

What a pain.

This bug has been around for a while, supposedly fixed but we see reports of it now and again. Try resetting preferences and workspaces to see if that fixes it.

Hi Lumigraphics,

Thanks for the reply. I reset both the Preferences and the Workspaces and the bug still persists. The bug happens even to the default Workspaces. Very strange.
