Bridge 2023 is slower than 2022 version

Question

Half way through 2023, Bridge 2023 is still significantly slower than 2022 version. It's slower to start, slower to open ACR, and freezes way too often. I'm deleting Br 2023 and going back to 2022 version.

Hi, @tc170079 just out of curiosity, can you add what you're running this on?

On my old iMac and then on my (current) Mac Studio (13.3.1, 64 GB ram), it's faster in all ways. The ONLY thing that is painfully slow is using Photo Downloader. Significantly faster to start and faster to open ACR; I've not had it freeze at all. I use it almost every day.

You are not the first person to say that, and I'd love to know why I'm not having the issues that you are. If I/we can figure it out, it might help you and others.
