Bridge 2023 Manage Cache missing!

Why has the "Manage Cache" feature been removed? (Mac Brigde 2023)

It is essential for me as I must use "Build 100% previews" on every import from my cameras!!

Sadly, this feature is still missing in Bridge 14.

Adobe (if anyone is still listening), why the radio silence on this?  I mean, it's not like this isn't fullly documented as a feature of Bridge:

https://helpx.adobe.com/bridge/using/centrally-manage-bridge-cache

We are still using Bridge 2022 for now, but soon that version will fall out of support and no longer be available to install via Creative Cloud.  At that point we will be stuck.

If there are no plans to ever restore this functionality, please tell us so we can move on. Otherwise, it's hard to imagine how teams are going to adapt.

Ok. I thought I was going crazy not being able to find the option that is clearly noted in the documentation. Guess I'll will try reverting down to 2022.

Did anybody find a solution for the problem regarding exporting or importing cache in Bridge 13 or higher? I have installed an older version (Bridge 11), but this can't be the solution since part of my colleagues don't have Adobe cs and are working with the free version of Bridge. Thanks!

Cache Management appears in Preferences. Is this not what you mean?

No, I actually look for this function only available in earlier versions (2022)

Just installed the lastest update, 13.0.1, but the "Manage Cache" feature is still missing!

Is it removed?

Any idea when the cache management will return?

I called and spoke with the team. They stated "it was removed and we do not have a time frame for it to return" I asked them about all the customers that use a NAS and need this feature. They said they would push it to the Engineering team to have them "look at it"

It hasn't been removed, its just not implemented yet.

Oh, that explains a lot.

However, I think it's quite inconvenient when you have the automatic uptates and key functions just "dissappear". Luckily I managed to install the older version to solve the problem.

I just ran into this. Which version did you install to get it back? I'm new to Bridge and need to set up the shared cache. Hoping new versions will still see and use the shared cache created with an older version. Just don't know what version to go look for.

thanks

+1 on the post.

Same for me. Running windows.

Why is the feature removed?

Is it only moved or is it removed?

+1 from me. Its also missing the "import cache" function under "settings". They ditched a feature that is essential for NAS / network users.
