Bridge 2025 on MacOS crashing when connecting network drives

I'm a jr. network administrator and I have multiple users of Bridge 2025 running MacOS Sonoma reporting that when they load Bridge, all of their SMB network drive mappings disconnect.  (SMB maps are connecting to Windows servers).  Inversely, when they have Bridge already operating and try to (re)connect a network drive, Bridge crashes out.  There are no error messages in Console, and no popups or anything on screen stating a problem, just things closing/disconnecting.  This issue occurrs whether the comptuers are using ethernet cables or wireless, in-office or remote.

I'm told Bridge used to be able to read those network drives, and I'm told this started happening when they updated to 2025," but 1 the system is auto-updating Adobe software, and 2 the team involved didn't report the issue until it had been ongoing for apparently several months, so I can't point to a specific update.  However, since this issue is applying to all our users with that Bridge2025/Sonoma combo, we can't attribute it something wrong with individual computers.

Has anyone encountered something like this, of Bridge 2025 really not liking Mac network shares, and found a solution for it?

Bridge was not designed to work with networks. Sorry but what you may have been told about Bridge 2025 is simply not true.  Some users have managed to get Bridge working with network drives but that is by luck not design. It may work some of the time but there is no guarantee. This issue has been the subject of many posts on this forum which you may discover if you carry out a search.
