Bridge 9.1.0.338 Erased Keywords - macOS 10.14.5

For the third time, Bridge has unexpectedly erased all my keywords. This seemingly happened without cause; I did not just update Bridge. Using Bridge CC 2019 version 9.1.0.338 on Mac OS 10.14.5. Does anyone know how to prevent this?

There is no way to prevent this as the cause is not known... However, one can safeguard against this happening whether the cause is known or not. Simply make periodical manual exports of the keywords and or automated backups of the underlying keyword XML file. One can rebuild the keywords file by exporting keywords embedded in previously processed images.
