Question

Bridge and Photo

Good afternoon, excuse me if the question is trivial, but I wasn't able to find a solution.

Is it possible to set Adobe Bridge so that it opens picture with Microsoft Photo (windows 10) with double click?

Thank you.

First off, Thanks @Imaginerie for locking this thread.

Sometimes a person requests multiple times because they are not sure if the first one "took." Other times it's because they think it will get an answer sooner. Let's assume this was because of the first option.

So, @ninov94519511 the answer is maybe/probably. I'm going to assume you have the free Bridge and do not have any other Adobe products on your computer. I've not been in that situation so I cannot speak with absolute assuredly, but I can guess.

First off, you need to go into Bridge's Preferences and select the tab for File Type Associations. Then, in the dropdown, you'll see all of the likely candidates that Bridge could find. If you do not find the application you want to use, select "Browes," which will be at the bottom of the list. If you do not find Microsoft Photo available then the answer is no. If you do find it then try it. If it works for you, please let us know AND mark this answer as correct so that would help the next person who wishes to do this as well. Oh, by the way, you will have to do this for each file type you expect to work with: JPG, PNG, GIF, whatever.

Good luck,

I saw you posted twice for this so I am going to lock this thread so you don't have to look at both to get your answer!
