Bridge Beta - scrolls uncontrollably when working with lot of images

Working with LOT of images. Editing events. It's the M O S T  D R E A D E D  part of my photo life, because I edit in Bridge aka the slowest editing software on the planet Earth and beyond.

Creating previews - takes forever. Getting 100% preview sharpness - takes forever. Exporting using Image Processor - IS. THE. SLOWEST. PROCESS... yeah you guessed it.. On planet Earth and beyond. I think I see my plants growing while waiting for Image processor to render from Raw to JPEG. Will make another post about that too.

THIS TIME:

I'm looking at 300 images at this moment. I want to scroll down, up, doesn't matter. I grab the scrolling bar, move it down and... the show started... Everything becomes unresponsive, meaning, I cannot stop it, I cannot click anything because - the scroll bar keeps on scrolling. It just scrolls... one screen down, two, three, four, and keeeeeps on scrolling. My options - take a 3 hour break, which I cannot because I AM PAID to edit the images. Or I force quit Bridge. That scrolling-on-its-own has to stop when ever it decides to.

Anybody experienced this?

Working on:

iMac Late2015

4Ghz QuadCore i7

32GB RAM

Mac OS Monterey 12.7.3

Adobe Bridge Beta 14.1.0.236

Hi,

The fix for the issue is available in the latest build 15.1.0.635.
We’d greatly appreciate it if you could give it a try and share your feedback with us.

I will love to try it out guys! Just got my selecting images day today haha, so will download that mentioned build and I will respond after todays work. Thank you! Peter.. PLUS .. i have to say something about the 'slowest editing on earth'... I see the issue. I was so glued to my 2015 iMac... I love that computer. Just got 2022 macbook pro and... ok, workflow is like 5 times faster, my jaw dropped. I'm sorry for blaming adobe for a slower older computer capabilities... alright, going to try.
