Bridge cache build freezing on hidden folder such as .Trashes

Found a few people with this issue with no response on the internets, thought I'd come ask here...

We're trying to move to a shared cache and completely recreating a 100% preview cache inside of our repo, which is stored on an external drive connected to my computeThe issue I'm having is Bridge hanging up on the cache build on hidden folders. First it was .TemporaryItems and so we deleted that and now it's hanging up on .Trashes. I guess I could delete that too and start over but aren't I going to run into the same issue in the future. Is there a way to tell Bridge to ignore indexing hidden folders for the cache?

Gd, I hate this program, but we have too many of us that use it in our workflow for various things.

p.s. - Our entire team is running either macOS Catalina up to Big Sur
