BRIDGE CAMERA RAW NOT OPENING IMAGES IN PSCS6

HI everyone,

Firstly, please excuse.  I'm still using Photoshop 6 suite, so my questions concern Bridge CS6. 

Anyone still using this? 

I am trying to open images in Camera Raw through Bridge, as I'm learing the tutorials now. However, when I try to open the images, even from the set of Lynda.com tutorials, it gives me this message: "Camera Raw editing is not enabled. ....requires that a qualifing product has been launched at least once to enable this feature".

SO I am using PS6, In Design6,. I also imported a raw image into Bridge directly, hoping that it would qualify and make it work. It did open that image in Camera Raw, but that's all.

How can I get this to work? I do not understand what is wrong? It works on my bigger laptop but not on the new 13" I bought for travel and image processing while I travel.

I have tried a few fix-its posted online but they do not work.
