Bridge can't find files in network folder

In Adobe Bridge CC I open a folder on the network - I'm staring at a file name that says "foo.ai" or whatever and I either use the search box or Ctl-F and search for the file. It always returns "no items to display" when searching on the network in this one specific folder. I'm not even searching subfolders. In other folders it works just fine just not this one.

I've tried clearing my cache and restarting the program.

In the past this has worked but not now for some reason. Suggestions?
