Bridge CC 2017 Fails to start

I'm running Windows 10 on an Hp system. I installed Bridge CC 2017. It ran then next time I tried to open it it failed to start. I tried to start it with the application manager which now also fails to start. I attempted to run both in administrative mode and get the change to the computer request, nothing happens.

I uninstalled bridge and used then used Bridge CS6 Then Reinstalled Bridge CC 2017 it ran then on reboot would not run along with the application manager.

How do I get these two programs to operate again?

Hi Bill,

Are you able to run Bridge CC 2017 (build 7.0.0.93) while other applications are not running.

What happens when you restart your computer and start only Bridge CC 2017. Only one instance of Bridge application can be run at a time.

How did you installed Bridge CC 2017? Please provide a screenshot of your Computer Properties.

Thanks,

Deepak Gupta

I was able to start Bridge CC 2017 right after reboot and with no other adobe products running. I installed Bridge CC 2017 from the Creative Cloud Applications Manager. Will this be the way I will have to run Bridge in the future?

Thanks,

Bill

Hi Bill,

You will only be able to use any one version of bridge due to Windows restriction, So I would suggest you remove the older version from your computer and use the cc 2017 version instead.

That was a good idea but it didn't work. Also I wasn't trying to run both versions at the same time.

Thanks,

Bill

Hi Bill,

Can you please try to run Bridge in compatibility mode of Windows 8 or Windows 7 and check if that helps?
