Bridge CC 2017 just as slow as previous in generating thumbnails

Hi, I have run Bridge with latest camera raw and OSX since a few years and I have basically used the same size sensor on my camera but the generating thumbnails takes longer and longer with each upgrade of bridge? I would say that generating 30GB of lowres thumbnail from a Nikon 21-36 Mpix camera takes me about 2 hours and I have to scroll so the images become visible otherwise Bridge the won't generate?

I always have a top model mac book pro that never is older than 2 years with maximum size RAM, Processor and largest SSD drive.

Is it just that slow?

kind regards // Alex

    Hi alexdawson,

Try resetting the preferences of Bridge by following the steps below :-

Start Adobe Bridge and immediately press Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Windows) or Command+Option+Shift (Mac OS) until the Reset Settings dialog box appears. Select all three options--Reset Preferences, Reset Standard Workspaces, and Purge Entire Thumbnail Cache--and then click OK.

I'm having the same problem and also, when I'm finishing with the Camera Raw option on RAW and JPEG photos, it changes on Bridge, but when I want to use the photos that I just process, it still stays in the original format.

I already follow some advices from the Adobe comunity, and nothing... Uinstall, re-install, the purge cache checking and changing, and so on...

Ever sinds the new update CC 2017, I've incouter a lot of problems, also with other products of Adobe (Ps, Pr, Ai, ...). This been said, I've spend a lot of hours try to resolve something that I think Adobe should be fixing. Dont get me wrong, it's a wondefull product, but the last time, it's been pushing my pacience a lot.

Ok enough nagging... Do you know another way to fix the problems that I'm having? (namelly the problem with Camera Raw issue)

    Best Regards, Zé
