Bridge CC 2018 added favourites opening mac finder

Hi all.  I'm hoping someone will be able to help me out.  I've just downloaded Bridge CC 2018. I haven't used Bridge prior to now.  I can add a folder to my favourites but when I click on the folder in favourites it opens a mac finder winder instead of opening the folder within Bridge to view the contents.  The default favourites (e.g. pictures, desktop etc) operate as expected just not ones I've added.  Has anyone experienced this issue and managed to resolve it?... or do I have the wrong interpretation of what 'favourites' should do?

Thanks in advance

There is a contextual click option to do this, however the standard click should not… Try resetting your prefs, follow point #2 in this link:

Thanks Stephen.  Unfortunately none of that worked.  But after some playing around I discovered it didn't like the file name I had created which was 00_Main photo collection .  For some reason it didn't like 'collection' but as soon as I changed it to 'collections' it worked.  Not sure what's going on but renaming made the difference.
