Bridge CC 2018 freeze

Our Bridge 2018 8.1.0 freezes at building the cache.
Multiple Users has this problem since we upgraded from Bridge CS5 to CC 2018.

The Users are using Windows Server 2012 R2 as a Terminal Server. After opening a new folder or switching between different folders the program just freezes.

We have tried to rebuild the Cache and set it to a other drive. Also we have tried to delete all Bridge user data. Every time the same result.

Do you have any ideas what we could try next?

Bridge is unusuable on  a server or network configuration.

Needs to installed on a mounted volume.

I don't believe that Bridge 2018 is even supported on windows 2012 server addition

Yes its officialy not supported. But InCopy 2018 is also installed and it works fine.

The program ist installed at the local C: drive at the Server.

Maby there is an option we could test?

No

You are running into share violation issues.

Bridge has never worked in a server environment and or a NAS setup.

In Design is complete different architecture platform.
