bridge cc 2019 artifacts on contact sheet in output module

G’day!

A colleague has recently encountered problems when exporting contact sheets using Bridge CC 2019’s Output Module.

There appear to be massive artificts in the brightest regions of the image that look like what GPU problems might cause in other applications.

His OS is Mac but I don’t know the exact version at the moment, but still:

Do any of you have experienced something like this and figured out (likely) culprits?

And please forgive me if I should have overlooked existing threads on the issue.
