Bridge CC 2021 is not functioning normally.

I want to Batch Rename in a folder that contains .PBS files and the folder size is 500 GB. The problem is that it's been 1h and nothing happens ....

At the bottom of the Bridge window it is marked: Generating thumbnails.... writing metadata....
