Bridge CC not including time when sorting by Date Created

In a nutshell: I've been using Photoshop since it first came out. I don't need the normal advise sites like to give people such as, "Please make sure your computer is plugged in", or, "Have you tried turning Photoshop on?". Not much help.

Here's the deal. When trying to sort images by Date Created in Bridge the actual time the photo was taken isn't being taken into account. As a lot of people are saying, when covering an event with more than one camera it would be nice if there was the ability to sort all of the images by the time, not just the date. Has anyone come up with a solution for this yet? Since upgrading to the latest CC version, 9.0.2, it seems to be worse than ever.

I'm open for someone telling me I'm doing something wrong. Wouldn't be the first time I've missed the boat when it comes to understanding something.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Select All, then Sort by Date again. Sorry it took me 4yrs to reply. Haha

Thanks, Stephen. No arguing with that, I can see it's working. I'll keep messing with it here and see if I can figure it out. I think I'm going to delete Bridge and re-install it, see if that does any good.

I’d recommend that you reset your Bridge preferences before reinstalling.

Can you share some sample files? The content does not matter, they could be 1 pixel images, it is all about having intact metadata that shows the date created date/time.

I just did a quick test in CC2018 and it appears to sort correctly by time on the date created column.

Hi Stephen, Thanks for getting in on this. Here are a few files. I've checked several dozen of the files from various shoots and they all have the time and date in the metadata. I'm wondering if there's something I've set wrong in preferences, or something? I can't figure it out.

Here is an animated GIF of a sort on the date created field, the metadata panel on the right lists the date & time which appear to be sorting sequentially in the correct time order as all shots are from the same day:
