In the Folders section of Bridge, "This PC" and subsequent folders are listed twice; duplicated. I'm using the current version of Bridge and have reinstalled twice, to no avail. Microsoft File Explorer and other like apps work Ok, no duplicated trees.
OK, I think I see what's going on here. There is a system shortcut to "This PC" that you can put on the desktop. I have that deactivated - but it turns out the shortcut is there even if you turn off its visibility on the desktop. So that is apparently what shows up in Bridge.
In other words, it becomes a sort of "circular" directory path.
And then there's the added complication that you can also put the desktop in Microsoft's cloud (which I have also not done).
Anyway, "This PC" - with all the main folders on the system drive, as well as all other drives - sits above the desktop in the folder hierarchy. Having a basic image of how the hierarchy is organised helps to avoid confusion.
What I find really odd here, is why your entire machine is listed under "Desktop"? I don't understand how that can be. The desktop is a subfolder under your Windows user account, way down in the directory tree. Given that, the double listing actually makes sense.
I'd start by looking at your whole directory structure, starting at the top with your system drive. It should contain a Windows folder, a Users folder (your desktop should be there), a Program Files folder, and some more.
